POWER PLAY UPDATE: Rabada reduces CSK to 28 for three v Gujarat Titans

Kagiso Rabada claimed two early wickets for the Gujarat Titans which saw the Chennai Super Kings splutter to 28 for three after being asked to bat first in their Tata IPL match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday afternoon.

 

Rabada removed the in-form Sanju Samson (11) with a fast leg-cutter which flew off the edge to ‘keeper Jos Buttler and followed up with a short ball to Urvil Patel (4) which the batsman mistimed to Jason Holder at mid on.

When Sarfaraz Khan spliced his first ball from Mohammad Siraj to Buttler the Super Kings were in deep trouble at 26 for three in front of a stunned home crowd. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad (12) and Dewald Brevis (1) have significant rebuilding work to do.
